Tombense and Patrocinense will face each other this Sunday (18/2), at 6pm, at Almeidão stadium, in Tombos. The match is valid for the 6th round of the Campeonato Mineiro. Both teams are fighting for a spot in the semifinals, but the home team has the advantage.
The first placed teams in each group advance to the next phase. In addition, the best second placed team also goes to the semifinals. With three rounds remaining, América, Atlético, Cruzeiro and Tombense (in 2nd place) are currently qualifying.
Tombense
Tombense is still in the fight for the Campeonato Mineiro semifinals. The 1-1 draw with Atlético in the last round gave strength to the team, which may even be the leader of Group A this weekend.
The team of coach Raul Cabral will not have the defender Zé Vitor for this match, as he is suspended after being sent off in the game against Atlético. Wesley is expected to form the starting defensive duo alongside Ednei.

Patrocinense
The team from Patrocinio is the third placed in Group C, but still has a chance to qualify for the Mineiro semifinals. The team won against Ipatinga at home in the last round and reached seven points.
For this match, coach Rogério Henrique will not have the left-back Ailton, who is serving a one-game suspension after receiving his third yellow card. Tiago Corrêa is expected to start in his place.
